Ernesto Romano
Ernesto is an Italian artist living and working in London.
Romano uses x-rays of his own body for his work, transformed with bold colours and often embellished with gold leaf, glitter, spray paint or Swarovski crystals.
While often using symbols such as crowns to identify a certain status or social position, the x-rays themselves are free from any social connotation, prejudice or stereotype.
